Weinstein is the producer of many great films and virtually anything that Quintin Tarantino does but that doesn't exempt him.
Regarding the Roman Polanski matter Weinstein; Polanki's biggest apologist said this:
“Hollywood has the best moral compass, because it has compassion. We were the people who did the fundraising telethon for the victims of 9/11. We were there for the victims of Katrina and any world catastrophe.”
He added: “Whatever you think about the so-called crime, [Roman] Polanski has served his time,”
“I was with him the day he won the Legion of Honour in France, which was a spectacular day. I remember the incredible love and affection that people have for him.”
So Hollywood is telling "you" that they really are the best at setting what is moral and what isn't.
Getting a thirteen year old drunk on champagne and photographing her nude, then giving a Quaalude, then leading her into a bedroom and dismissing her asking to be taken home, then performing oral sex on her and refusing to stop when she says no, then raping her vaginally and refusing to stop when crying she says no, then raping her anally and refusing to stop when she says no, then ejaculating in her.........thats okay because Weinstein calls it a "so-called crime" and Roman Polanski is an artist and people love him. And as far as Polanski "serving his time" is was under psychiatric observation in Chino for only 42 days (instead of the requested 90) and when he got out he fled because he thought the judge was going to sentence him to 30 years (which he might have). So actually Roman didn't serve shit.
What people do not realize is Roman has a thing for younger girls, like really young. Back in 1979, two years after fleeing the U.S. Polanski in an interview said this.
"If I had killed somebody, it wouldn't have had so much appeal to the press, you see? But … fucking, you see, and the young girls. Judges want to fuck young girls. Juries want to fuck young girls. Everyone wants to fuck young girls!"
And Roman should know all about that because in 1975 he was sexually involved with then fourteen year old Nastassja Kinski in France and as the French say "ooo la la".
